Teuk = best leader ever <3*
True, I had my doubts about him being "really" a leader. But looking back at the past 4 years of Suju, he's come so far ^^
He just needs to tone down being too emo -_- I'm not asking for it to stop because Teuk without emo is not Teuk at all. Just, tone it down a little Teukie~

Evals for level 2 are finally over. But results don't come out until this Saturday so that's a couple of days of more torture -_- Frankly I don't know how I'll be evaluated considering two factors:
1. Song Interpretation - I interpreted Rie fu's Until I Say which I practiced like crazy (the song's relatively fast for signing but I love the message so much!) for a week. So I was pretty confident that nothing will go wrong with my performance. Except I forgot to burn my CD until 11 PM last Friday (the evals were set for 9 AM Saturday). So I scrummaged through available CDs at home and burned two copies. And I thought they were fine because I played them on two different players before performance and they were working well. But the player used for the presentation screwed me -_- so 3/4 into the song my CD jumped so I ended up singing the remaining parts...which started with mostly Japanese lines. It was impossible to ask for a repeat performance so I just went with the flow, sang the lines even though my voice was breaking while I was singing and signing. Mixed emotions - died of embarrassment, glad it was over, realized how I love the song so much I could sing it with my hands moving. I hope I did well in front of my Deaf evaluators T_T
2. The receptive, expressive and fingerspelling parts were different this time around and I have no idea how my teacher evaluated us. Well it didn't really come as a surprise considering that she hardly knew how to teach us. She is a great interpreter and her hands are really good. But her teaching skills are questionable. Fact, when we were learning the sign for Canada (which is THE Halu move), she asked me why it was signed like that. Trying to humor her, I said that it's because of Hockey (obviously refering to Halu in pride) and she...believed me. I'm still not sure if what I said has a degree of truth in it...But she's been teaching ASL for over 20 years, how come the origin of a country sign is not familiar to her? And why didn't she try to correct me? Also I just couldn't forget that we reviewed a single lesson for three Saturdays because she forgot that we studied it the previous Saturdays. Seriously -_-
On a happier note, since my classmate and I decided that we needed to review, we met up and while we were studying at McDonalds, we met a Deaf couple! Who were so nice they taught us a couple of signs that we forgot in class T_T It was also a great experience actually conversing with them and being able to understand what they're saying! I guess my bad receptive skills did improve. I also went shopping for Christmas gifts and chanced upon a store with a Deaf lady...and I was able to talk to her too! I think that was motivated me more to really, really try hard for evals (on top of my Koyamatwin motivation ♥). Hopefully, all is well. Now all we need to do is prepare for our group presentation. And we're doing True Colors (Glee cast - Jenna version) :) The signs are really pretty and quite easy so I maybe it won't be too hard.
Level 3 will be a challenge though because it will be introduction to interpreting. But omg can't wait to finish all five levels and become a registered interpreter. That way I can start participating in Deaf programs, especially the concerts.
ps. Imagine performance in Glee episode 11 made me tear T_T It was such a sweet moment and personally, it came at such a perfect time for me. Also, it reminds me of Cole's Beautiful Boy performance for Mr. Holland's Opus. Wow, they're both John Lennon songs :O
pps. too glad evals are over that I'm relaxing too much and procrastinating on my grad school assignments x:
ppps. Thank you for being well now ♥

I'm pretty much guilty of it too x: But anyway, I've been saving this for a long entry hohoho ._. So life has been pretty much:
1. Sign Language
I am now taking Basic 2 YAY! It was pretty hard at first because my arms are really heavy and not graceful so the signs don't come out pretty well. But the real challenge was fingerspelling T_T There are just some fingers in my right hand that refuse to follow when I'm counting -_- Letters are okay though. So it was a surprise when my evaluator (for Basic 1) told me that I'm pretty good with fingerspelling (I practiced in front of the mirror every day the two weeks before evaluation day...). Until now actually, I feel I'm not yet good enough but I shall try harder!
My favorite part of my classes is thinking about song interpretations lol. The signs are so beautiful and graceful and when I see people perform them omg I just feel really amazed and tear-y. There's really that beauty in them that makes me feel lucky I discovered this world.
2. I got into graduate school!
I was supposed to post this last Sept. 14 when I first got the email but me being paranoid held it in until I received the admission package (TODAY!). I have this fear that I might be living in a dream and I didn't actually receive such email. Or there was a mistake and it wasn't really for me -_-
But anyway! I really got in! I'm taking up Development Communication and just this morning I was already picking my elective subject haha (excited much?). I'm so fired up to go to school and study a la Tegoshi lol
Also, this fulfills my family dream of studying at UP (me), Ateneo (law school brother) and La Salle (fanfic brother) :)
3. expression
My f(x) folder has ballooned into an unacceptable size and yet I can't bear to delete any of the files (even though I backed them up already). I am still shocked at the number of fancams I have. It's not healthy T_T But omg I can't stop this obsession -_-
Wow, and I even joined a forum (and actually post! although not so much -_-). But it's so hard to forum again after so many years. Especially when the kids in it have the stamina that I don't have anymore (I am getting old T_T).
~sigh~ how in the world did this happen...
I'd probably be pretty busy in the months to come but it's all good :) As they say, an idle mind is the devil's workshop so I shall try not to be idle as much as possible lol

I think what's sad about being a Filipino is that we live too vicariously on the achievements of a select few Filipinos that we fail to achieve greatness by ourselves.
We are only one when something momentarily big happens, and not during those continuous moments when we should be considering each other as countrymen.
We forget important things easily and then when something significant happens, we're scrambling to reminisce that something important as if we've been living its ideals all these time.
We are awed by symbols more than movers and pioneers. We understand the sadness of our heroes' death but not the legacy.
I hope we'll finally wake up and realize that our heroes didn't die for us to just cry over them. Their deaths mean that they have done what they can and it's up to us who're still living to do what we can.
Someone said it so well "Yes, the Filipino can! But we'd rather not." I wonder when the time will come when we'll finally do.

What's with these hot people sharing spaces recently?
Kimutaku + Kame + Hiro
I'm still surprised the room didn't burst into flames.
Kame being piggybacked by Kimutaku a la Korean drama
This is how you define perfection. Unless you have impossible wishes which include so much hotness, that by some sort of divine intervention suddenly come true in the form of
Kimutaku + Josh Hartnett + Lee Byungheon
Seriously...what else is there to ask for? *O*O*O*O*O*O*O*O*
